There is a cohesive multidisciplinary team of Registered Nurses, Charge Nurses, Physicians, Physicians Assistants, and Nurse Practitioners on this unit. Our medicine specialists are dedicated to providing comprehensive, leading-edge care to our community.
Responsibilities
- Assists patients with activities of daily living such as feeding, toileting and hygiene
- Provides basic nursing care to non-acutely and acutely ill patients
- Assists in maintenance of a safe and clean environment
- Works under the directions and supervision of the registered nurse in charge of the team and/or unit
- Answers phones and call lights
- Ensures unit is stocked with supplies
- Assists patient transporter as needed
- Other duties as assigned
