About The Position
Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Progressive Care Unit Part Time (24 hrs/week), Days (7a-7p) Job Duties: The Progressive Care Unit Nursing Assistant functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. About the Unit: The Progressive Care Unit, also known as PCU, is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care, nursing assistants will encounter a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team, nursing assistants provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population.
Requirements
- BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
