About The Position

Monterey Park Hospital, a 101-acute care facility located in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, is seeking a Nursing Assistant for our Telemetry Unit. This is a part-time, 12-hour night shift position reporting to the Director of Telemetry.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Current BLS (AHA) required.

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Assistant Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Telemetry Nursing Assistant (NA) receives assignments from and reports to the CN and takes direction from the RN &/or LVN.
• The NA position is directly responsible for the delivery of high-quality individualized basic nursing care.
• The NA utilizes knowledge of the patient’s age, developmental status, spiritual and cultural diversity in the provision of patient care.
• The NA position contributes to the provision of safety and quality nursing care that results in positive patient outcomes.
