Nursing Assistant | Cardiac Medical | Day Shift | PRN
About The Position
This unit is fast-paced cardiac unit with team members who pride themselves with ownership of their team and patient experience. The team works very well together to advocate for their patients and to provide safe and efficient care. The Cardiac Medical Unit staff is a well-balanced blend of seasoned and newer nurses, nursing assistants and secretaries who collaborate and support each other in their daily work. This team is supported by a Nursing Director who has 40 years in healthcare and 20 years in Nursing Leadership. There are also 4 Charge RNs on day shift and 3 Charge RNs on night shift to support the team in their daily work and provide leadership at the point of care. We are looking for people who share our passion for excellence. Don’t delay if you think that might be you! Under the direction of the Director/Manager and RNs, the Nursing Assistant facilitates patient care by providing the basic physical care and nursing procedures, providing patients with comfort measures and maintaining a clean safe organized environment. This is a PRN Day Shift position. 0645am-715pm
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Florida Certified Nursing Assistant License preferred
- BLS
Nice To Haves
- Post High School Special Training preferred
