About The Position
Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Progressive Care Unit Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am) Benefit Eligible Job Duties: We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. About the Unit: The Progressive Care Unit, also known as PCU, is a 32-bed intermediate level of care unit between the Inpatient Units and the Critical Care units. While the unit specializes in cardiovascular care nurses will encounter a variety of diagnoses, such as CHF, dysrhythmias, DKA, respiratory issues, sepsis, etc. While working closely with an interdisciplinary team, nurses provide excellent care for a high acuity-based population. PCU is a great place for nurses to cultivate and expand their assessment skills while managing several drips and other specialized procedures. Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- Previous Nursing Assistant experience preferred.
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required.
