Nursing Assistant | Plaza Chemo Infusion
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant supports patient care needs by performing delegated patient care and non-patient care tasks. Responsible for assisting patient care team in the treatment and care of patients, in accordance with established policies and procedures and unit standards, to provide quality patient care to those undergoing services at the Coborn Cancer Center. Patients of all ages served. Supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. Supports and demonstrates Family Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with coworkers. Schedule: Casual Various shifts between 6:30am-6:30pm No weekends
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills required.
- Basic computer knowledge and skills are required.
- Must be able to work under stressful and mentally/emotionally challenging circumstances.
- Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple interruptions during workday
Nice To Haves
- Successful completion of a Nursing Assistant training course is preferred.
- Prior experience as a nursing assistant is preferred.

- Starting pay begins at $16.36 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $16.36 - $24.56 per hour
