About The Position
Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Surgical Inpatient Unit PRN (Work as Needed), Nights (7pm-7am) Job Duties: We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. About the Unit: SIPS is a 32-bed unit specializing in inpatient care for post-surgical patients. The unit includes a variety of surgical patients including total joint replacements, bariatric surgeries, and higher acuity cases such as post-surgical vascular and thoracic patients. The unit also accepts post-operative admissions originating from areas such as the emergency room or a physician’s office.
Requirements
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
- High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required
