About The Position
PURPOSE OF THE JOB: Nursing Assistant (NA's) perform tasks and procedures within their scope of practice under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) across all units in the Critical Access Hospital. Settings include Inpatient, Emergency Department, Obstetrics, Outpatient Services, and home settings.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret verbal and written medical terminology.
- Demonstrated proficiency in written, verbal, and virtual communication, with the ability to interact professionally with colleagues, patients, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple departments and provide care to a diverse patient population, including acute, chronic, neonate, pediatric, and geriatric needs.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms with attention to accuracy and compliance.
Nice To Haves
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
