About The Position

We are seeking a Nursing Assistant to: Prepare patients for the Operating Room and/or procedure requiring anesthesia. Obtain vital signs, reposition patients, and comfort patients. Ability to cross-train as a health unit coordinator. You will prepare charts for the following day’s patients, check-in patients, and order department supplies. Interact and engage with patients and their families to establish a trusting relationship and assist with wayfinding. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and Graduate of State of Wisconsin Approved Nursing Assistant program
  • 1 year recent experience as a Nursing Assistant
  • Listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Assistant/Home Health Aid Registry Upon Hire
  • BLS/CPR certification within 3 months
