About The Position
Seeking Nursing Assistant! Baptist Health Floyd, Observation Unit Full-time (36 Hours Weekly), Nights (7pm-7am) Every 3rd Weekend Requirement Benefit Eligible Job Duties: We are seeking a Nursing Assistant who under general supervision and according to established procedures functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. About the Unit: The Observation Unit is a 29-bed unit affiliated with the Emergency Department and observes patients who are expected to be in the hospital less than 24 hours. This unit cares for a variety of patients including chest pain, cardiac arrhythmias, heart catheterizations, laparoscopic cholecystectomies, UTIs, and DVTs. The unit is staffed with a provider between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM each day of the week to provide support and high-level care. Qualifications: BLS for Healthcare Provider required. High school diploma/equivalent or CNA preferred, not required. We offer competitive salaries and excellent benefits.
