About The Position

Work Schedule and Shift Premiums 7am-7pm | 3 days (36 hours)/week including every other weekend Base pay is determined by years' experience as a certified CNA; 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour; 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour; weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour Benefits Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability Paid Time Off: vacation, sick days, holidays Retirement: 403(b) with match Education assistance and continuing education If you don't have a current CNA, we may be able to pay for your course and exam once you're hired by the Hospital Qualifications High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution Current Michigan Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA), otherwise must obtain one within 4 months of hire, may be eligible to have this paid for by the hospital BLS, plus TEAM certification is required within one year (both are available through Hillsdale Hospital) Responsibilities Must have knowledge of patient’s condition and plan of care and assist under direction of an RN May assist patients with activities of daily living Maintain accurate records within the chart - graphics, I&Os, evening and weekend activity, showers, etc. Collect patient specimens per protocol Perform clerical duties related to admissions, discharges, transfers, etc. Input computer data appropriately. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required from an accredited institution
  • Current Michigan Nursing Assistant Certification (CNA), otherwise must obtain one within 4 months of hire, may be eligible to have this paid for by the hospital
