The Mayville Medical Center has an opening for a full time straight nights certified nursing assistant (CNA)! Here's an exciting opportunity to provide care to patients with a variety of health conditions and medical needs. Great place to start for those looking to pursue a career in nursing! 12 hour night shifts (7pm - 7am) with every 3rd weekend and 2 holidays a year required. $2,500 sign on bonus available for eligible new hires! The Nursing Assistant (NA) serves as caregiver to the patient during the scheduled work period. The NA provides patient-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned patient under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is preferred.
- Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
- If working in North Dakota (ND) or Minnesota (MN) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be on the NA Registry as a Nursing Assistant through the North Dakota Dept. of Health or through the Minnesota Dept. of Health within four months from the date of hire.
