About The Position

1. Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily operating room activities. 2. assists in equipment readiness and placement in the OR, and management of repairs 3. assists in the set up and turn over in between surgeries. 4. Transports patients within the facility for surgery. 5. assists in movement and safe positioning of the patient. 6. Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families. 7. assigned safety checks and documentation of rounds. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 0-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant, in Patient Care or other related field with demonstrated increased responsibility in the healthcare industry
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained prior to start date
