About The Position
POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the nurse, performs basic patient care related tasks that contributes to the maintenance of a safe and comfortable patient environment.
Requirements
- EDUCATION: High school graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of Nursing Assistant course within one year.
- CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: BLS certification required. Specialty certifications as required by each unit.
- SKILLS: Must be able to pass skills competency checklist as required by each unit. Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently.
Nice To Haves
- EXPERIENCE: Six months in a healthcare related field preferred.
