About The Position
The position is for a part-time Nursing Float Pool role at Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital. The role requires weekend and holiday availability. The Nursing Assistant will assist Registered Nurses (RNs) with daily patient care, including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, and ambulation. Responsibilities also include measuring and documenting vital signs, performing purposeful rounding, participating in the admission and discharge processes, and ensuring patient comfort and safety. The role involves collecting specimens, maintaining equipment, and adhering to infection prevention policies. The Nursing Assistant must demonstrate knowledge of patient care appropriate to various age groups and maintain competency in required skills.
