Nursing Assistant-Trainee
About The Position
This is a training position that includes a combination of a formal CNA course as well as on the job training to prepare employees for a CNA position. DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION The Oncology unit specializes in the care of acutely ill adults and of those who require Cancer treatment and care. Oncology patients are given the highest standards of professional care by registered nurses and nurse assistants. Specialty certification in Oncology is strongly encouraged and supported. Telemetry monitoring is available for the patients requiring stable cardiac monitoring.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Healthcare Provider Level BLS required within 90 days of hire.
- Experience and/or training in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records preferred.
