Seeking Nursing Assistant/ Receptionist! Baptist Health Floyd, Heart Failure Clinic Full Time (40 hours a week), Days (Mon-Fri 8:30am-4:30pm - availability to flex to 8:30am-6:30pm) Job Duties: The Nursing Assistant/ Receptionist is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all those entering the Cardiology area seeking care or service. As the primary contact for the Cardiac Services waiting area, this person will seek to understand the needs of the individual and direct them on the appropriate processes including registration, waiting, consultation, etc. This position is responsible for assessing the needs of those in the Cardiology waiting area and appropriately addressing those needs. They will act as the communication conduit between the cardiology services clinical team and patient or patient family members. The Nursing Assistant/ Receptionist also functions as an on-shift team member under the direction of the nurse by providing delegated aspects of patient care and routine non-patient care unit maintenance tasks. These tasks include obtaining vital signs and performing lab draws. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be at least 16 years of age BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training.
