Provide compassionate patient focus and perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse. Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment. This is a full-time day (7:30AM-4PM) shift position located at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, up to three weekends a month required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting or certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aid training program.
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum.
• Ability to work harmoniously with staff, patients, and visitors.
• Current BLS from the American Heart Association.

• At least 1 year of experience as a Nursing Assistant in Premature Nursery (NICU).
