About The Position
Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Lakeway, TX is seeking a PRN (as needed) Nursing Assistant/PCT for an Inpatient setting. This role offers flexible scheduling options for day or night shifts (7p - 7a). Nursing Assistants collaborate with nursing and therapy teams to assist patients in their rehabilitation process, encouraging and supporting them to reach their goals.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) preferred
Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with our nursing and therapy teams
- Assist patients in their rehabilitation process
- Obtain vital signs
- Help the patient with daily activities
- Promptly answer call lights
- Report any issues or progress observed
- Reinforce rehab techniques as assigned by the therapy team
- Encourage and support patients through the recovery process
- Gently guide them to reach their goals
