Apply now! JOB SUMMARY: Assists in the care and support of the patient, utilizing technical nursing skills.

Requirements

  • MUST HAVE: CNA (class completed and certification obtained) or 1 year direct patient care experience in a hospital setting.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • CNA with completion of a Nurse Assistant training course or a minimum of one year acceptable patient care experience in a hospital, nursing home, or related health care facility.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to function in stressful situations.
  • Current CPR card or completion within 30 days of employment.
  • Must have strength and stamina for prolonged walking and standing.
  • Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to read and write.
  • Able to hear, or correctable with hearing devices, and able to talk to converse with others in person and over the phone.
  • Able to hear, see, and feel to accurately assess, monitor, and administer care.
  • Able to frequently lift at least 60 lbs., reach, pull, push, bend, stoop, and kneel.
  • Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to give care (i.e.: finger stick blood sugars, vital signs, feed patients, and handle instruments).
