About The Position
The Nursing Assistant performs patient care to patients under the direction and supervision of the Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse. This position is located at Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies in Orlando, FL, specifically in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Level II. The role is a Variable Full-Time position, requiring 36 hours of work per week, typically consisting of three 12-hour night shifts. The NICU is a 142-bed facility that offers specialized services, including care for micro-preemies and neonatal transport and ECMO programs. Orlando Health Winnie Palmer is recognized as one of the largest award-winning neonatal intensive care units in the country and has been named a 'Best Children's Hospital' in Neonatology by U.S. News & World Reports.
