About The Position
As a nursing assistant at Christian Health Care Center (CHCC), you will play a vital role in a dedicated health care team that focuses on delivering mission-driven, patient-centered care. This position is situated in a clean, progressive, and well-respected skilled nursing center, where you will be responsible for ensuring that each resident's plan of care is effectively implemented. Your duties will encompass a variety of activities of daily living (ADLs), including assisting residents with mobility, eating, toileting, bathing, grooming, and basic skincare. You will also be tasked with ensuring resident safety, transporting wheelchair users to activities and meals, and applying and monitoring safety devices for residents. Infection control measures will be a critical part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining neat and tidy resident rooms. In addition to these core functions, you will be expected to attend in-service training sessions as required. The role requires a commitment to supporting CHCC's mission and values, and you will be working in a collaborative environment with residents, family members, and co-workers. This position offers a structured work schedule of forty hours per week, typically following a four-on, two-off rotation, which allows for some weekends off. The night shift hours are from 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., providing a consistent routine for both you and the residents you care for.
