Requirements

High school diploma or GED
At least 1 year of Nursing Assistant experience

Nice To Haves

CNA certification

Responsibilities

Provide basic nursing care to the patient.
Assist nursing personnel and physicians in emergency care.
Accept responsibility for providing safe, appropriate, quality patient care.
Perform out of bed/back to bed as appropriate.
Observe patient while performing delegated tasks and report significant findings regarding patient safety, personal needs, and changes in patient's condition to the licensed nurse.
Respond to call light promptly and courteously.
Maintain confidentiality of patient records.
Assist patient in wheelchair, on stretcher, and ambulating.
Monitor vital signs, specimen collection, intake and output, meal consumption, height and weight, blood glucose testing/monitoring, and point of care testing.
Perform any and all other duties assigned.
