About The Position
The Nursing Assistant assists patients with activities of daily living and provides basic nursing care to meet the physical, emotional and social needs of the patient, and is cross trained to Unit Associate. Assists with maintenance of a safe and clean unit environment. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire
- CPI due within 60 days of hire/transfer
- This is an entry‑level opportunity designed for individuals who are not currently CNA‑certified . Selected candidates will participate in a 6‑week CNA training program , after which they have 1 year to become a Certified Nursing Assistants and continue working in the hospital setting.
Nice To Haves
