Position Summary
To assist the perioperative nursing/surgical teams in meeting the needs of all customers by performing a variety of tasks and/or services including maintaining facilities, providing support functions, and assisting with basic patient care functions while continuously performing in a professional manner.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education preferred
• Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred.
• Able to speak and write English Fluently
• Demonstrated communication, organization and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of surgical instruments preferred

Nice To Haves

• Completion of Certified Nursing Assistant, Medical Assistant Course, two years of nursing school, or other recent comparable education preferred
• Two years of experience as a Nursing Assistant in the operating room preferred.
