About The Position

The position involves assisting in the safe care of patients as directed and maintaining safe and efficient unit operations. The role requires excellent customer service skills and includes responsibilities such as changing patients from portable oxygen to wall oxygen. The work schedule is a steady night rotation from 6 PM to 6 AM or 10 PM to 6 AM.

Requirements

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of a Nursing Assistant Training Program.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Act 33/73 clearances.

• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe care of patients as directed.
• Maintain safe and efficient unit operations.

• Change patients from portable O2 to wall O2.
• Safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications, including prescription and non-prescription medications.
• Safely access, transport, and handle sharps, such as needles, suture kits, lancets, syringes, etc.
