About The Position

The position involves working closely with physicians and nurses to provide advanced primary and specialty nursing services. Requirements

• HS Diploma or GED required
• At least 1 year nursing assistant or unit associate experience, or nursing students after 1 year of classes.

Nice To Haves

• CNA preferred
• BLS preferred

Responsibilities

• Supports nursing personnel in providing direct patient care and assists patients with daily activities.
• Serves and collects food trays and provides between-meal nourishment.
• Changes bed linen, runs errands and prepares and sterilizes treatment trays and supplies.
• Transports patients within the facility for consultations, treatments, tests, or examinations.
• Measures and records patients' vital signs such as temperature or pulse and provides basic treatment.
• Ensures a safe care environment for the patients and their families.
• Performs continuous rounds and check-ins throughout the shift to ensure patient and family needs are met.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
