Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington is seeking Full-Time Nursing Assistants (Home Health Aide / CNA / Caregiver / Resident Assistant) to join our team Assisted Living and Memory Care. Readily recognizable by the striking clock tower facing Penn Avenue, the village-like setting of Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington continues to grow better with the years. This community offers the following care options: Assisted Living, Assisted Living with Memory Care, Care Center/Long Term Care, Long Term Care with Memory Care, Transitional Care/Rehab.

Requirements

  • Caregiving experience helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrated competencies in person-directed, elder/resident-directed practice.
  • Critical thinking, teamwork, self leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated compatibility with the PHS mission and operating philosophies.
  • Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Provision of high quality personal care and services to residents.
  • Support the Personally Designed Living choices of residents.
  • Maintain consistency with regulations and established best practices.
