About The Position
The Boston Home is an active, innovative 96-bed long-term care community dedicated to adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders. The resident population is typically younger and more stable than in many care facilities, with individuals often joining in mid-life and residing for over 20 years. This role offers the opportunity to develop meaningful, long-term relationships with residents. The Nursing Assistant works under the direction of the Staff Nurse, providing comprehensive personal care and ensuring residents have an exceptional experience within The Boston Home community.
Requirements
- Active Nursing Assistant/CNA certification
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care assistance to residents
- Assist with resident's meals
- Transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices
- Assist residents with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
- Interact with residents and families on a daily basis
- Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents have an exceptional experience
