Requirements

  • Must have completed an approved Nursing Assistant/CNA training and testing program within the last 10 years.
  • Must provide a certification or transcripts of curriculum taken. Certification does not have to be current but may not be revoked.
  • If you have completed higher education in the medical field, you may also qualify for the role in lieu of a nursing assistant certification.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Passion for Helping Others
  • Physical stamina to stay on your feet, walk, stand, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Basic computer skills for tracking progress and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with daily activities like personal care, meal prep, transportation, housekeeping, and laundry, all while fostering independence.
  • Utilize skills to monitor overall health, transfers and assistance with developing, implementing and evaluating individual medical care and programming.
  • Maintain a clean, safe space that ensures comfort and support while helping individuals reach their personal goals.
  • Provide supervision, positive reinforcement, and guidance to help individuals achieve their aspirations.
