About The Position

The position involves providing assistance to the nursing staff in a Medical/Surgical/Cardiovascular Telemetry Unit, specifically 5 Main. The role includes performing acute nursing care duties as assigned by the Director/Clinical Supervisor or their designee. The responsibilities primarily relate to specific nursing care functions that do not require professional education or licensure. The individual will assist in maintaining safe and efficient unit operations, support patient care programs, and utilize excellent customer service and communication skills. The role permits changing patients from portable oxygen to wall oxygen.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of Nursing Assistant training program.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Minimum experience: None.
• Preferred experience: Clinical experience from a nurse aide educational program or related area.
