About The Position

The Nursing Assistant (NA) provides care for both adults and pediatric (neonates, pediatrics and adolescents) patients. The NA will provide direct patient care in the clinical setting under the direct supervision and delegation of the nurse. The nursing assistant performs assigned tasks in a timely, efficient and safe manner.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend medical terminology.
• Previous experience preferred.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (must be issued by the American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adults and pediatric patients.
• Assist nurses in clinical settings under supervision.
• Perform assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
