About The Position

The position assists in the safe care of patients as directed and helps maintain safe and efficient unit operations, utilizing excellent customer service skills. The role includes the responsibility of changing patients from portable oxygen to wall oxygen.

Requirements

• Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Current enrollment or completion of a nursing assistant training program.
• Healthcare Provider CPR certification.
• Act 33/73 Clearances.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working as a nursing assistant in an acute care facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the safe care of patients as directed.

• Safely access, transport, and handle single dose medications.
• Safely access, transport, and handle sharps such as needles and syringes.
