MAIN FUNCTIONS: The Administrative Supervisor is responsible for the clinical supervision of patient care and represents hospital management on the assigned shift to ensure the delivery of quality patient care. WORKING CONDITIONS/HAZARDS: Exposure to communicable diseases, blood and blood products,illness, confused and/or combative patients, hazardous chemicals, stressful situations, x-rays and fluoroscopy, sharp instruments and needles, electricity. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Includes standing, walking, lifting patients, pushing wheelchairs, recliner chairs, beds, stretchers. Occasionally must stoop, reach above head, carry medium to light equipment.
