Represents administration, directs facility operations, and supervises personnel in all departments when leadership/management staff is not present in the facility. Serves as administrative liaison to all hospital departments, agencies, and physicians and provides functional guidance to all units. Serves as a resource for decision-making concerning patient care services, non-clinical services, staffing and ensures that hospital policies and procedures are properly interpreted and applied. Sutter Amador Hospital's rich history of Amador County dates back as far as 1876. Today, the community based, not-for-profit Sutter Amador Hospital has 52 licensed beds and is the only hospital in Amador County serving a population of more than 40,000. Our hospital provides comprehensive services, including 24-hour emergency care, critical care, diagnostic imaging, a family birth center, surgery, orthopedics and laboratory services.
