We invite you to join our team! -Nursing Adminstrative Assistant Part time 3-11pm- 16 hours per week. What You'll Do: Nursing Administrative Assistants provide clerical support to our nursing teams. Your efforts will help ensure efficient operations and contribute to the exceptional care provided to patients and residents. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Compassionate and empathetic nature
  • Patience and the ability to relate tactfully with staff, residents, family, etc.
  • Interest in the nursing needs of the aged and the chronically ill with the ability to work with both
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to complete assignments with minimal supervision
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, including proficiency in the English language and grammar
  • Proficiency in office software and basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare setting
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Additional certification or coursework in office administration is a plus
  • May require experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and in specific functional areas in a long-term care setting

Responsibilities

  • Greeting and assisting visitors, residents, and staff in person and over the phone
  • Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and documentation
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date resident and/or staff records and charts
  • Scheduling appointments and arranging meetings
  • Assisting with data entry, filing, and maintaining inventory of office supplies
  • Collaborating with the healthcare team to facilitate smooth operations
  • May support general nursing, MDS, Case Management, Scheduling or other functional areas
