The Nurses Aide Training Specialist contributes to the Hospital’s mission by teaching a quality health education program. This role involves utilizing compassion, empathy, and respect to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, aiming for expected outcomes and maintaining the highest level of professionalism consistent with a Magnet Hospital. This staff position significantly impacts patient safety by providing excellent mentoring and training to clinical staff during their initial week of training and orientation in the Clinical Assistant Training Program (CATP). The specialist will provide training and mentoring to clinical assistant (CA) trainees on patient care, including personal hygiene tasks, proper lifting techniques, and checking vital signs on the clinical site.
