About The Position

Join the team at J.W. Jung Seed Company , an industry leader in mail-order and retail gardening. With six garden centers across Wisconsin, Jung Seed Company ships thousands of quality seeds, plants, and gardening accessories to all 50 states.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Seasonal Outdoor Nursery Worker to support the daily Nursery operations at our Randolph, WI location.

Shift: Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to work both with a team and independently.
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Possess a valid driver’s license
• Ability to work in all types of weather including extreme heat.
• Ability to team lift up to 50lbs
• Can stand, squat, sit, bend, and reach for extended periods of time.

Nice To Haves

• Prior plant or growing experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

• Potting and planting items sold in our catalogs and Garden Centers
• Maintaining Nursery plants: hoeing, digging, weeding
• Monitor plants for healthy growth
• Pulling orders for shipping to our customers and stores
• Operate tractors and other company vehicles.
• Other duties as assigned.
