About The Position

This position is responsible for: providing care for infants and toddlers in a nursery setting and ensuring the nursery is maintained in a safe and clean manner at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required AND Six months experience caring for babies in a nursery environment, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• This position requires a level 2 background screening.
• Ability to observe children and ensure their safety.
• Ability to lift, hold, and carry infants and toddlers on a continuous basis weighing up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors all babies’ behavior and activities in a constant manner, ensuring their health and safety at all times.
• Prepares babies' food and feeds babies in accordance with diet established by the parents.
• Changes babies’ diapers and ensures babies are clean before applying a fresh diaper.
