About The Position

The Nursery Attendant supervises and interacts with all children in the facility while providing the best quality daycare for children and excellent guest service to the parents. This position is responsible for ensuring child safety, encouraging creativity and well-being, and providing a guest experience that exceeds expectations. The attendant will carry out daily chores, prepare meals, and maintain communication with parents regarding their children's needs.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Verifiable baby-sitting or other childcare experience.
  • Infant and Child CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write simple correspondence and present information effectively.

  • Ability to focus on many children at one time.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily chores including preparing daily lunches and snacks, changing diapers, and other assignments.
  • Responsible for supervising as many as 7 toddlers or 4 infants.
  • Fill out the children's daily information on the daily needs form.
  • Interact with guests and their children.
  • Collect childcare information from parents to ensure quality care.
  • Ensure that all forms are completed correctly.
  • Ensure child safety at all times.
  • Encourage creativity and well-being.
  • Follow daily activities schedule.
  • Utilize good communication skills.
  • Be knowledgeable in all Nursery policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Maintain a positive attitude with all parents and children.
  • Provide a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations.
  • Support TSG sustainability initiatives.
  • Adhere to TSG policies and procedures.
  • Have knowledge of and adhere to Skier Responsibility Code and Colorado Skier Safety Act.
