About The Position

The LPN Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living is responsible for delivering high-quality care to residents by administering medications and treatments safely and effectively. Requirements

• LPN, LVN, or state/province specific licensed nurse credential.
• CPR and First Aid certifications required.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.
• Document medication administration and maintain accurate records.
• Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director (RCD).
• Participate in the development and updates of Individualized Service Plans (ISP)/Individualized Care Plans (ICP).
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report concerns to the RCD or Wellness Nurse.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and infection control techniques.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance team success.
