Nurse - Day Shift
About The Position
Are you called to serve others through compassionate nursing care? Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur is a long-term care residence for Sisters who have dedicated their lives to serving God. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care to our Sisters in a faith-based environment. Our mission is to extend God’s goodness through service. We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Full-Time 3rd Shift Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our healthcare team in our 80-bed, five-star facility. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to our Sisters, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Sisters. This full-time role is scheduled for 32 hours per week and operates on a 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. shift, including rotating weekends and holidays. Applicants must be willing and able to commit to this schedule in order to be considered.
Requirements
- Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Ohio.
- Previous experience in long term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Commitment to serving Sisters with kindness, respect, and integrity.

Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on nursing care and assist in implementing individualized care plans for residents.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
- Monitor Sisters conditions and promptly report changes to the supervising RN and physician.
- Supervise and support STNAs, ensuring quality care and teamwork.
- Communicate effectively team members.
