About The Position

Puget Sound Kidney Centers (PSKC) is seeking Registered Nurses (RNs) to join their team of medical professionals dedicated to providing high-quality care for patients with chronic kidney disease. The RN will oversee the delivery of dialysis treatments, educate patients, supervise Dialysis Technicians, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. This role emphasizes patient-centered care and offers training for RNs interested in specializing in dialysis.

Requirements

• Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license from the WA State Board of Nursing.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with a Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers card.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Acute or Ambulatory Nursing required.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• Previous Hemodialysis or Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide education to patients regarding dialysis and kidney health.
• Supervise Dialysis Technicians in the delivery of care.
• Adjust treatment plans according to standing orders.
• Monitor patient outcomes and administer medications as needed.
• Participate in quality improvement projects.
• Collaborate with social workers, dietitians, and nephrologists to coordinate patient care.
