One California Job Summary and Responsibilities Night Full Time Trauma ICU Registered Nurse $15,000 - Sign On Bonus offered for new hires. Per policy, current employees are not eligible. Employee Referral Eligible position. The Trauma ICU is a high paced 8 bed trauma unit. We specialize in the treatment and management of all trauma related injuries. Our staff is dedicated to providing superior care to all patients we are fortunate enough to care for. We have a dedicated Trauma Surgeon team that collaborates with our exceptional nursing team. Position Summary: The incumbent provides, coordinates and directs care to individuals and families using a holistic approach. The nursing process is used as a structured mechanism for critical thinking and problem solving in providing effective and appropriate care within a safe and confidential environment from admission to discharge. Each RN is responsible for collaborating with members of the healthcare team, providing leadership, personal/professional development, and conducting him/herself professionally. This position shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy San Juan Medical Center and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Requirements

  • 1 year RN experience in critical care at an acute care hospital
  • Current California RN License
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Current AHA PALS or obtained within 6 months of hire
  • Current Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification or obtained within 12 months of hire.
