About The Position

As a Nurse Trainer for TrainND Northeast, you will be responsible for verifying that individuals applying to be or renewing as a Qualified Service Provider (QSP) in North Dakota meet basic care standards and global endorsements as required by North Dakota Health and Human Services Medical Services Division. The Nurse Trainer will utilize TrainND Northeast's in-home care training program to instruct and assess competency through direct observation of demonstrated procedures, listening to detailed verbal explanations, and/or reviewing written coursework provided by the student. This role ensures care providers possess the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver safe, effective in-home support. The position offers flexibility and contributes to strengthening the quality of home-based care services across the state. To be considered for a position as a Nurse Trainer, candidates must hold active licensure as a Registered Nurse by the North Dakota Board of Nursing and be proficient with using email. Long-term care or similar experience is preferred. To succeed in this position, you should have a passion for serving others. You should be organized, have strong attention to detail, be able to manage your time effectively and have the ability to communicate with diverse populations. Candidates must have strong customer service and communication skills and provide timely responses and documentation. Candidates residing within 30 miles of the following locations: Dickinson, Bismarck, Williston, Minot, Grand Forks, Devils Lake, Fargo, Wahpeton, Jamestown and Valley City are preferred. Candidates residing in additional locations within North Dakota will also be considered.
