The Nurse Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. Please note the following important details regarding this position: This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock Flexibility to work a day, evening or night shift as scheduled Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements. Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Requirements

  • A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment.
  • A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.
  • After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (Vendor Managed)
