As a Nursing Technician in our Obstetrics unit, you’ll be a vital part of the care team—supporting moms and families by providing compassionate, hands‑on patient care under the guidance of a licensed nurse. From assisting with personal care and comfort to taking vital signs, delivering meals, and helping maintain a clean, calming environment, you’ll help ensure every patient feels supported and cared for. You’ll collaborate closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals, document care accurately, step in where needed (including transport), and contribute to a positive, team‑focused culture where patient comfort and safety come first. Please note the following important details regarding this position: This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location. Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Plainview Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements. Positions specified as “on call/per diem” refer to employment consisting of shifts scheduled on an “as needed basis” to fill in for staff vacancies

Requirements

  • A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment -OR- A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.
  • After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position.
  • Within 30 days of hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
  • Must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Plainview
  • Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled, based on operational and departmental requirements.
