About The Position

The nursing tech is responsible for routine nursing procedures and certain tasks related to patient care under the supervision of a nurse within a nursing unit of the hospital.

Requirements

• Graduated from high school, or GED preferred.
• Participation in continuing education programs.
• Graduated from accredited nurse's aide program or prior experience as nurse aide.
• On the job training, if necessary.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing procedures.
• Assist with patient care under the supervision of a nurse.
• Complete assigned functions related to patient care.
