The Nursing Technician performs basic patient care by assisting in the treatment and care of patients under the direction of a licensed nurse. Requirements

• A nursing student enrolled in a professional school of nursing (RN) program with successful course completion of Medical/Surgical Nursing and Fundamentals of Nursing & Skills, and maintains enrollment or A graduate of a professional school of nursing (RN) who has taken but not successfully completed the State board of Nursing examination within the first year following graduation.
• After one year will be demoted to a non-licensed position
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
