About The Position

The Patient Care Technician provides a variety of indirect and direct care, including provision for patient's dependency needs such as nutrition, hygiene, safety and physical and psychological comfort measures, to patient and significant others, under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision and values.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D required.
• Florida CNA license required.
• Hospital PCT/CNA experience preferred.
• Currently enrolled in a Nursing program (ASN or BSN) and have completed Fundamentals of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Provide indirect and direct patient care.
• Assist with patient's dependency needs such as nutrition and hygiene.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort measures.
• Support physical and psychological comfort for patients and significant others.
• Perform job duties in accordance with the organization's mission, vision, and values.
